BUILDING A LEGACY OF BENEFICIAL KNOWLEDGE
For more than 6 years, Muhammad Islamic Centre for Quranic Memorization & Boarding School has been committed to teaching the Qur'an and the Sunnah of Prophet Muhammad ﷺ in Brikama Kembujeh.
By the permission of Allah, the school has grown to 315 students. This growth is a blessing, but it has also brought a challenge that can no longer be ignored.
The school currently operates partially within a family compound, which has limited space. As the number of students continues to increase, the existing classrooms have become increasingly tight, with no available space within the compound to expand.
Some students also stay on the school premises. Sharing a limited family compound with a growing number of students can sometimes create difficulties and disagreements with other children and residents of the compound. At times, these situations have resulted in complaints and conflicts involving the school administration and families living there.
These circumstances have made it increasingly important for the school to have a dedicated and permanent place of its own environment designed specifically for Islamic education, student accommodation, and the needs of a growing community of learners.
THE VISION
The goal is to establish a permanent campus that will provide:
🕌 A Masjid
🏫 Spacious classrooms
🏠 Student boarding facilities
💧 A borehole for water
🪑 Desks and learning resources
🌿 A safe and dedicated environment for learning
This is more than creating a building. It is about establishing a place where the Qur'an can be memorized, taught and lived, and where beneficial knowledge can continue to reach generations to come.
Allah says:
“Who is it that will lend to Allah a goodly loan so He may multiply it for him many times over?”
— Surah Al-Baqarah 2:245
The Prophet Muhammad ﷺ said:
“When a person dies, his deeds come to an end except for three: ongoing charity, beneficial knowledge, or a righteous child who prays for him.”
