The Government of The Gambia has announced that the newly introduced National Identity Cards will now be valid for ten years.

The announcement was made as part of ongoing reforms in the national identification system, aimed at improving efficiency, reducing frequent renewals, and easing the burden on citizens seeking identity documentation.

Authorities say the new validity period is expected to streamline administrative processes and address longstanding delays in ID card issuance.

UPDATE: Today, we will be in Bakary Sambou Ya, Marakisa, Dasilameh, Manduar, Pennyem, and other villages in Kombo Central and Kombo South to distribute rice, sugar, and oil - donated by a businessman who wishes to remain anonymous.

We will also distribute money from a businesswoman who also prefers to stay anonymous.

For transportation, we are using the Grand Bantaba van and a pickup provided by one of our female followers.

For The Gambia, our homeland!!
