Updates on Jamisa Road Rehabilitation Project

It's yet another Super Sunday in Jamisa Community, as the inhabitants turn out in numbers to lead their development through the use of locally available resources.

For far too long, the condition of this main road of Jamisa has been deplorable and thus affects the movement of people in and out during rainy seasons.

This time around, we want to mitigate its grinding effects through a self-initiative. project. Significant progress has been made in very incredible discourse. The people of Jamisa through the VDC will continue to leverage on their limited resources.

We can't thank the relevant stakeholders such as Road Authority, Brikama Area Council -BAC". and for their benevolent aid towards this project.

Under the stewardship of Jamisa La Yiriwa VDC Chairman, Mr. Lamin Daffeh and his Lieutenants, we want to thank you all for your unwavering support.

Updates on Jamisa Road Rehabilitation Project

Development for the people, of the people and by the people. The Buttom-top practice of development.

Ahead of the upcoming rainy season, the community of Jamisa intensifies efforts to improve the deplorable condition of the various roads within the community.

In view of that, VDC initiated a strategy to mobilize the resources required to fix the poor condition of these roads.

The initiated project attracted the participation of community members as the epicenter of this trajectory by making benevolent gestures and these include the Women Kafos, Individuals, Households among others.

On the other hand, government agencies such as Geology, NRA, NDMA, and BAC have also offered their contributions in kind towards this course.

Despite what has already been mobilized towards this project, we are calling on everyone who has the ability to come forward to support this self-initiated project of the Jamisa community.

It is worth supporting this project as it will improve the deplorable condition of the roads which will in turn make the movement of people and goods in and out of Jamisa very easy during the rainy season. Particularly, women who go to the market early in the morning and school-going children.

We sincerely thank everyone who is directly or indirectly contributing to ensure the aim of this project is achieved, as we call on the intervention of more donors.
