We are thrilled to to have hosted our first introductory session, centered on the importance of Internet governance and how we (youths) can get involved in meaningful discussions, formulating policies and strategies in ensuring an open, inclusive, safe and sustainable Internet for everyone.
The event brought together young people, experts and policymakers and the civil society to engage and be informed about the discussions and initiatives in shaping the Internet landscape - highlighting the importance of youth engagement in driving meaningful and positive changes and ensuring inclusivity in Internet governance.
Finally, an interactive discussion was held at the end of the session, were participants voiced out their concerns and the impact of Internet on society, such as the high cost of Internet, the need for digital literacy programs, data protection awareness raising on child safety.
