Now in its second year, TheGambia88 is a student-led music program rolling out across the country 🇬🇲—turning real issues into powerful original music. Founded by Kimball Gallagher and led locally by Assan Jobe and Bintou Cham with support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development 🇩🇪, the project gives young voices a platform to inspire change through performance.
The Gambia88 song contest between the 28 schools is in full swing, and the tracks coming in are 🔥—creative, bold, and totally worth your time.
