Final Ramadan Serve and Share Initiative 2.0
Cleaning Service – Sinchu Baliya Central Mosque
Theme: Serving hearts, sharing hopes.

The Sinchu Baliya Scout Troop joyfully announces the successful completion of our final Ramadan Serve and Share Initiative 2.0 activity. On Sunday, 15th March 2026 at 9:00 AM, more than 25 dedicated young scouts came together to clean the Sinchu Baliya Central Mosque - a powerful act of service, unity and devotion.

This marks the fourth activity in four weeks all in a month, a true testament to our scouts unwavering commitment to community development and service. From planning and mobilizing resources to hands-on implementation, our scouts have proven that service is not just an action, but a way of life.

This may be the final activity of the Ramadan Serve and Share Initiative 2.0, but it is not our last event of the year. Stay tuned - more inspiring and impactful projects are on the horizon.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to:

RAMADAN SERVE AND SHARE INITIATIVE 2.0 – WEEK 3
Theme: Serving Hearts, Sharing Hope.

On Sunday, 8th March 2026, the Sinchu Baliya Scout Troop successfully carried out another meaningful community activity as part of the Ramadan Serve and Share Initiative 2.0.

The activity, a Food Distribution (Iftar) for Passers-by, took place at Cash Power Junction. The aim of the initiative was to support fasting individuals who might still be on the road at the time of breaking their fast. Scouts distributed bread, dates, and hot local tea popularly known as “Mborrborr.”

Alhamdulillah, the activity was successful and heartwarming. A total of 53 scouts from different troops came together to support and participate in the initiative, demonstrating the true spirit of scouting, unity, and community service.

The Sinchu Baliya Scout Troop extends its sincere appreciation and gratitude to all the scouts from different troops who attended and supported the activity. Your presence, dedication, and willingness to serve made the day truly successful.

We also thank everyone who contributed through donations, encouragement, and volunteering. Your support helped us reach many people in the community and share the blessings of this holy month.

May Allah reward everyone who supported this noble cause and continue to strengthen the spirit of service among us.

🌸 International Women’s Day with Sinchu Baliya Scout Troop 🌸

Today the 8th of March, we honor the incredible girls and women who devote their lives to service, voluntarism and uplifting others. They are our sisters, mothers, aunties, friends, mentees and mentors - the pillars of encouragement, guidance and strength in our community.

In a powerful show of respect, every man and boy in our troop kneeled to celebrate these bold girls, reminding us that true empowerment is built on unity, recognition and gratitude.

To all the women who inspire us with courage and compassion — we see you, we celebrate you and we stand with you.

RAMADAN SERVE AND SHARE INITIATIVE 2.0 – WEEK 3
Theme: Serving Hearts, Sharing Hopes

Our journey of service continues! Alhamdulillah, we successfully completed the first 2 out of 4 activities of our Ramadan Serve and Share Initiative 2.0
1. 22nd February 2026 – Community Cleaning Exercise at Sinchu Baliya Health Post.
2. 1st March 2026 – Food Distribution (Iftar) at Cash Power Junction.

As we move forward with gratitude and commitment, we are now preparing for our 3rd community activity.

Ramadan Serve and Share 2.0 – Iftar Distribution

On 1st March 2026, about 40 scouts from the Sinchu Baliya Scout Troop came together to serve their community in a special way. As part of our Ramadan Serve and Share Initiative 2.0, we distributed Iftar meals - dates, tea, water and bread, to over 300 Muslims at Cashpower Junction during rush hour.

This marks our second Ramadan activity this year, following the successful health post cleanup. Once again, our young scouts have shown the true spirit of service, giving back to the community even while fasting.

We extend heartfelt thanks to our donors, parents and scouts whose contributions made this program possible.

Celebrating Founders Day with Service and Impact

Last year, the Sinchu Baliya Scout Troop marked Founders Day with an online challenge, sharing favorite scout photos and quotes. It was engaging, inspiring and brought our community together.

This year, we chose a different path. Through our Ramadan Serve and Share initiative, more than 40 young scouts, boys, girls and leaders, came together for a community cleaning exercise at the Sinchu Baliya Health Post. Their dedication, even while fasting, brought smiles to health workers, residents and neighboring villages.

The day didn’t end there. Scouts engaged in teamwork activities, brain‑building games and shared thought‑provoking poetry, showcasing the spirit of scouting beyond service.

Once again, our scouts have proven their patriotism, resilience and commitment to community.

Message Of Gratitude

With hearts full of joy and gratitude, we give thanks to Allah for the successful completion of Sinchu Baliya Scout Troop- Sponsor Walk & Craftmanship Day 1.0, a truly remarkable initiative that beautifully reflected the spirit of Scouting through fundraising, unity, teamwork and skill development.

We celebrate and appreciate our generous and whose unwavering support made this program possible. Your contributions have not only strengthened our troop but also paved the way for impactful community development projects that will continue to uplift and inspire.

Our deepest thanks go to our troop leadership and the school administration, whose guidance, leadership and commitment steered us through every stage of planning and ex*****on. We equally commend the Organizing Committee for their tireless efforts, seamless coordination and dedication behind the scenes, your hard work shone through every detail of this event.

A special round of applause goes to our scouts and troop members, who participated with discipline, enthusiasm and responsibility. You carried the values of Scouting with pride and joy, making the day vibrant and memorable. We also extend heartfelt appreciation to the District Executive for their presence, encouragement and steadfast support, which added great value to our celebration.

We cannot forget our beloved mom Ya Fatou Sarr and our dedicated cook, Alieu, whose care and delicious refreshments kept spirits high throughout the day. To all present on the ground, thank you for your time, supervision and guide, your roles, both big and small, were vital to the success of this event.

Finally, we extend our gratitude to everyone who contributed, whether in preparation or ex*****on. This achievement is a shared victory, a testament to what we can accomplish together when unity, joy and service lead the way.

Sinchu Baliya Scout Troop have started this years JOTA-JOTI 2025 in a stylish Outdoor Cinematic format, with a epic introduction to whats its all about, continued by exploring the Activity Hub, Challenges, Ongoing Events and other aspects of the website.

Not only that, our scouts were inspired by other talented scouts from the globe, the Live Show was just an inspirational show to them🥳🥳🥳. We continue tomorrow the 18th October 2025.

1st Term Activity Planning for the 2025/2026 Academic Year - September to December 2025

THEME: Year of Difference; Together, we build. Together, we serve. Together, we grow.

On the 26th of September, 2025 the Sinchu Baliya Scout Troop convened for a vibrant and purposeful planning session to chart our programs from September to December 2025. The gathering brought together committed scouts whose active participation reflected their deep sense of ownership and dedication to shaping the troop’s journey.

This collaborative session was more than a meeting, it was a testament to the spirit of . Scouts contributed ideas, refined strategies and outlined a dynamic calendar of activities that promises impact, growth and community connection.

Highlights of the Activity Plan Include:
- Community Service Initiatives to foster civic responsibility.
- Events to support troop events and its sustainability.
- Meetings to discuss and evaluate troop activities.
- Scout Exchange Visits to strengthen troop bond.
- Recruitment Exercises to expand our scout family.
- Capacity Building Trainings on Safe from Harm principles, / Programs, etc.
- Not forgetting😆 Book Studies, and entertainment.

The energy and commitment displayed during this session affirm our troop’s readiness to lead, serve and inspire. As we move forward, we anticipate a season filled with meaningful engagements and transformative experiences.
