ERLA COMMUNITY ENGAGEMENT; CLEANLINESS FOR ALL
The Emerging Rural Leaders Association (ERLA) has once again taken action in our commitment to community service and inclusive development.
As part of our community engagement initiative, members today participated in a cleansing exercise at Start Now Organization, Brikama, a school supporting visually impaired learners.

We believe that everyone deserves a clean, healthy, and comfortable environment, regardless of their circumstances or state of being. Our visit was therefore not only about cleaning, but also about promoting an inclusive community where everyone feels valued, respected, and a part of society.
Through this exercise, we were reminded that meaningful change begins with small acts of service. The dedication, teamwork, and willingness of our members to give back to the community continue to reflect the spirit of volunteerism that ERLA stands for.
We extend our sincere appreciation to the Management of Start Now Organization for welcoming us and for their hospitality, and to all ERLA members who contributed to making the exercise a success.
Together, we can build cleaner, healthier, and more inclusive communities.

SPEAKER SERIES OUTREACH SUCCESS AT SIFFOE SENIOR SECONDARY SCHOOL

Today marked a significant milestone in our journey of extending knowledge and impact beyond our membership and into our communities.
We are delighted to share that our Speaker Series was successfully conducted at Siffoe Senior Secondary School. Our team was warmly received by the school administration, and we extend our sincere appreciation for their hospitality, support, and collaboration throughout the program.
During the session, we engaged students on the following topics:
1. Digital Skills and Responsible Social Media Use
2. Understanding the Transition to Tertiary Education and Opportunities for Students

The discussions were highly interactive, insightful, and enriching. We were particularly impressed by the students' active participation, thoughtful contributions, and eagerness to learn. Their responses demonstrated a strong interest in personal development, responsible technology use, and educational advancement.
As an organization, we firmly believe that engaging students is one of the most effective ways of enlightening minds, sharing knowledge, and contributing to national development. By empowering young people with information, skills, and guidance, we are investing in a brighter future for our communities and our country.
This successful engagement is only the beginning of our vision to expand the Speaker Series to more schools and educational institutions. We remain committed to inspiring, mentoring, and equipping the next generation with the knowledge and confidence they need to succeed.
We thank everyone who contributed to making this program a success, and we look forward to reaching even more students in the near future.

As we mark the end of the blessed month of Ramadan, we thank Allah (SWT) for granting us the strength to fast, pray, and grow spiritually. We pray that Allah (SWT) accepts all our acts of worship, forgives our shortcomings, and rewards us abundantly.
May this joyous occasion of Eid bring peace, happiness, and renewed hope into our lives. May it strengthen the bonds of unity, love, and compassion within our communities, especially as we continue to rise as emerging leaders committed to positive change and development.

Today, we especially recognize and appreciate one of our hardworking advisors whose dedication and commitment have greatly contributed to the development of our nation and the growth of our association. Her leadership and service continue to inspire many young leaders.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to all women who continue to work tirelessly to achieve their goals, uplift their communities, and make the world a better place. Your determination, courage, and hard work do not go unnoticed.

The Emerging Rural Leaders Association (ERLA) extends its warmest Ramadan greetings to all our general members, partners, and supporters.

As we welcome this blessed month of mercy, reflection, and spiritual renewal, we pray that Allah (SWT) accepts our fasting, prayers, sacrifices, and good deeds. May He forgive our shortcomings, purify our intentions, and strengthen our faith.
May this Ramadan fill our hearts with peace, our homes with happiness, and our communities with unity and compassion. May Allah (SWT) grant us wisdom as emerging leaders, guide us in serving our rural communities with sincerity, and bless our efforts with success and barakah.

OFFICIAL ANNOUNCEMENT | ERLA

The Emerging Rural Leaders Association (ERLA) is pleased to inform its members, partners, and the general public that the Association has successfully conducted its General Congress and leadership transition today at The Gambia College.
The Congress marked the conclusion of the Interim Executive’s one-year mandate and paved the way for the democratic formation of a new executive body, in line with the values and objectives of ERLA.
Following due process, the Electoral Committee, after observing and reviewing applications from interested members, officially announced the newly elected executive members. All positions were filled without opposition, reflecting unity, trust, and collective commitment within the Association.

The new Executive Body of ERLA are:
👉President: Mamadou S. Jeng
👉Vice President: Isatou K. Sillah
👉Finance Secretary: Kaddyjatou Jatta
👉Secretary General: Muhammed H. Camara
👉Assistant Secretary General: Ebrima Sissoko
👉Auditor General: Muhammed Jallow
👉Information & Public Relations Officer: Abdoulie Sidibeh
