CorpsAfrica/Gambia Alumni at LCOY Senegal 2025 🇸🇳

We were honored to be invited by Club des Alumni de CorpsAfrica/Sénégal to experience and share our voices at the Local Conference of Youth on Climate Change (LCOY) Senegal 2025, held under the leadership of the CorpsAfrica/Senegal Alumni at Onomo Hotel, Dakar.

Under the theme “Youth on the Frontline: Acting Locally for Global Climate Justice” the event brought together children, youth, and key stakeholders to strengthen youth engagement and local climate action.

The conference served as a platform to exchange ideas, strengthen networks and reaffirm our collective role in advancing local climate solutions.

Our Alumni President Fana Ceesay represented the CorpsAfrica/Gambia Alumni Network at the Pan-African Youth Academy on Climate Adaptation and Leadership held in Nairobi, Kenya 🇰🇪.

Bringing together over 50 young leaders from four continents, the Academy empowered youth to lead Africa’s adaptation movement — amplifying youth voices and driving climate solutions across the continent.

Fana’s participation reflects our continued commitment to advancing resilience, innovation and youth-driven climate action.
