🚨 GBA Banking Awareness Campaign Visits Schools in Greater Banjul! 🚨

🎉 On Friday, 4th October 2024, the Gambia Bankers Association (GBA) officially kicked off its "Banking Awareness and Financial Literacy Campaign" with engaging visits to schools throughout the Greater Banjul area. This important initiative is part of GBA's ongoing efforts to provide the next generation with essential financial knowledge, further demonstrating our commitment to building a financially literate youth population. 📚💡

👥 The GBA team—comprising the President, Vice President, Executive Secretary, and other senior executives—had the privilege of visiting various schools, where they interacted with students on key topics like the basics of banking, the importance of saving, responsible borrowing, financial planning, and how banks contribute to the overall economy. 🌍🏦

GBA Banking Awareness Campaign Visits Schools in Greater Banjul

Last Friday, 4th October 2024, the Gambia Bankers Association (GBA) successfully launched its "Banking Awareness and Financial Literacy Campaign" with a series of visits to schools across the Greater Banjul area. This initiative marks a significant effort by the GBA to equip the next generation with crucial financial knowledge, reinforcing the association’s commitment to developing a financially literate youth population.

The GBA delegation, including the President, Vice President, Executive Secretary, and other senior executives(Members), visited various schools to engage students in discussions on the basics of banking, the importance of saving, responsible borrowing, financial planning, and the essential role banks play in the national economy. The campaign is a testament to the GBA's dedication to empowering young minds with the skills needed to thrive in today’s fast-evolving financial landscape.
