KEUR XALLE YI FOUNDATION & QCELL PARTNER FOR “SET SETAL SUNU REW” COMMUNITY CLEANING EXERCISE IN BANJUL
Sunday, 7th June 2026

Following the success of our annual Tobaski Kids Show, KEUR XALLE YI FOUNDATION, in partnership with QCELL, embarked on a community cleaning exercise today under the “Set Setal Sunu Rew” initiative.

The aim of this initiative is simple: make Banjul a cleaner, healthier city. We took to the streets to clean our neighborhoods and launch a strong “No Littering” sensitization campaign.

We believe in action, not just talk. We mobilized our people because we refuse to wait on government, the Banjul City Council, or politicians. This is our city, and we have a responsibility to protect it. KEUR XALLE YI FOUNDATION chooses to lead by example and implement real change for a healthier Banjul.

We sent out many calls, but few were made. Still, we are grateful for those who showed up and proved that commitment matters more than numbers.

Special appreciation goes to Honorable Sheikh Jaw, Saul Slim Njie, and Amadou Worry Jallow for joining us on the ground for the day.

Last but not least, heartfelt thanks to everyone my friends, my brothers, and all volunteers who turned up. Your energy made this possible. We are truly in this together.
