Our Gambian 🇬🇲 referee Abbie Ceesay was part of the referee officials at the just concluded African Football Skating Championship in Senegal 🇸🇳 2025.

Part of the matches, she served as the central referee between Mali 🇲🇱 and Kenya 🇰🇪

A dedicated and hard working lady as far as her field is concerned. Happy belated birthday 🎂 to Madam Ceesay.

First time having a football skating team and association in the Gambia 🇬🇲 our first time participating in a tournament and we end with a bronze medal 🥉 not the result we want but this is a strong signal that we can do it.

African Football Skating Championship – Senegal 2025

TEAM GAMBIA WINS BRONZE🥉

What a way to finish, our boys 🇬🇲 has secured third place at the maiden African Football Skating Championship after defeating Mali 🇲🇱 3-1 on penalties.

In our debut tournament, the boys showed incredible determination, skill and team spirit making the nation proud on the continental stage.

African Football Skating Championship – Semifinal

We put up a strong fight but fell 3-1 to hosts Senegal 🇸🇳 in Dakar yesterday.

Senegal took an early lead in the first half 1-0 and despite our boy’s resilience after the break, the hosts secured their spot in the final.

Congratulations to our boys, the debutants for thei l journey. We learned a lot and promise to come back stronger 💪🇬🇲✨

African Football Skating Championship – Dakar 2025

After our impressive 1-0 victory over Mali 🇲🇱 on Thursday, Team Gambia 🇬🇲 returned to action yesterday at the maiden African Football Skating Championship in Dakar.

In a tense goalless draw against Gabon 🇬🇦, the our boys remained unbeaten and showcased their resilience our Group C stage.

Their strong group stage performance has secured a us a semifinal spot where we will take on host nation Senegal 🇸🇳 today.

Our boys are ready to give their all and continue making history💪🔥

We arrived safely in Dakar yesterday and we are ready to proudly represent The Gambia at the African Football Skating Championship, running from September 17–21, 2025 at Stade Marius Ndiaye.

We are in Group C and will face Mali, Togo and Kenya as we kick off.
