The Ministry of Basic and Secondary Education (MoBSE) hereby informs the general public that the official recruitment window for teaching positions will open on Monday, 19th January 2026.

This recruitment exercise forms part of the Ministryโ€™s ongoing commitment to strengthen the education workforce and ensure equitable deployment of qualified teachers across all regions.

This yearโ€™s graduate recruitment targets in-service Qualified Teachers (QTs) currently completing their studies at The University and expected to graduate in 2026. These individuals have been fully catered for in the Ministryโ€™s budget, and upon graduation, their status will be regularised as Graduate Teachers.

The Projection Balance reflects this groupโ€”teachers already in service whose graduation will fulfill part of the staffing needs.

The Total Recruitment Ceiling indicates the number of additional fresh graduate teachers to be recruited per region.
