In the Continuity of our quest to fight against drug abuse,
We conclude another step down adventure in engagement of young people to talk about drug abuse, its effects and the legal consequences that are attached.

We visited Future Generations Senior Secondary School earlier today and had an interactive and a direct interface with its students on dangers associated with drug addiction and how much of a decisive impact a person can make in staying away from its usage!

We extend our deepest gratitude to the school administration, Narco-mag DLEAG Gambia SHOAW Gambia for the opportunity and the support respectively!

FADAG Conducts School Outreach at Daddy Jobe Comprehensive School to Combat Drug Abuse

Fighting Against Drug Abuse (FADAG) continues its mission to raise awareness about the dangers of substance abuse among young people. As part of our outreach efforts, we recently visited Daddy Jobe Comprehensive School to engage with students on the risks and consequences of drug abuse.

During the session, we educated students on the harmful effects of substance abuse, its impact on their health, education, and future, and how they can make informed decisions to stay drug-free. The interactive discussion allowed students to ask questions, share their thoughts, and commit to making positive life choices.

We appreciate the warm welcome from the school administration and the enthusiastic participation of the students. FADAG remains committed to empowering young people with knowledge and support to build a drug-free future.

📢 FADAG Completes Two-Day Training with DLEAG on Combating Drug Abuse in The Gambia

Fighting Against Drug Abuse in The Gambia (FADAG) is proud to announce the successful completion of a two-day intensive training program in collaboration with the Drug Law Enforcement Agency, The Gambia (DLEAG).

The training, held from 17th and 18th January, brought together FADAG team members and a DLEAG officer to discuss critical issues surrounding drug abuse in our communities. Key topics covered included:
✅ Understanding the basics of drugs and their effects
✅ The legal implications of drug abuse and trafficking
✅ Practical strategies for prevention and community engagement

This capacity-building program is part of our shared commitment to fostering a safer and healthier Gambia, free from the devastating impacts of drug abuse.

We thank DLEAG for their partnership and unwavering dedication to addressing this pressing issue. Together, we aim to strengthen efforts in awareness creation, enforcement, and support for affected individuals and communities.

FADAG remains committed to collaborating with stakeholders and empowering Gambians with the knowledge and tools to fight against drug abuse.
