World Mental Health Day 2025 💚🧡

Life can be unpredictable and challenging, and many are facing overwhelming situations, yet everyone deserves support and hope. Remember, taking care of your mental health is as vital as your physical health.
Everyone shows their best smile online, but few talk about the battles behind it. This World Mental Health Day, pause and check on your mind the way you check your phone. Because healing isn’t a trend — it’s survival.
Seek for help.
Your peace matters.
Your rest matters.
You’re allowed to slow down, cry, restart, and still call it growth.
Let’s break the stigma, share our realities, uplift one another, and remind ourselves that every act of healing is an act of courage.

Empowering Communities to Thrive Despite Climate Challenges 🌱💚

Centre for People’s Empowerment and Rights Initiatives (CPRI) in partnership with BasicNeeds-Ghana, with funding support from UNDP's Adaptation Fund Climate Innovation Accelerator, have successfully trained the “Engmaarung Self Help Group” (peer support group) of persons with mental health conditions, caregivers, and widows in Bussie in the Upper West region on climate-resilient practices, good agronomic practices on dry season farming and animal husbandry.

This project aims to build climate resilience through organic farming and small ruminant rearing, improve food security, and increase income opportunities.

Together, we are building a sustainable future!

Today, we join the World Health Organization (WHO) to raise awareness about tuberculosis (TB), a preventable and curable disease that still affects millions worldwide. Let's work together to eliminate TB by promoting early detection, treatment, and prevention.
TB is curable, seek help!
