This week, Asudev Ghana joined over 20 other CSOs in Northern Ghana in a week-long Training on Preventing Violent Extemism organised by CRS Ghana under its PoVETSA II Project. The project is focused on promoting collaboration between security agencies and citizens and citizen groups for the prevention of violent extemism in Northern Ghana.
For the 5 days we have increased our knowledge and understanding of Violent extemism, terrorism and radicalization as well as their drivers. We discussed conflict analysis and risks of VE in northern Ghana, the PVE architecture of Ghana, Gender dimensions of VE etc.
With this training we are better equipped to design and implement Inclussive PVE programmes in our area where VE risks abound.
