Tim Africa Aid Ghana, on behalf of the Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health (GCNH), has donated a set of essential equipment to support immunization activities in the Ahafo Ano North Municipal of the Ashanti Region.

The donation, which forms part of efforts to strengthen primary healthcare delivery, included thermometers, weighing scales ( floor and hanging) among other logistics. These items are expected to enhance routine immunization outreach in communities across the municipality.

Speaking at the presentation ceremony, . Isaac K. Kakpeibe - Executive Director, Tim Africa Aid Ghana highlighted that the gesture was undertaken on behalf of the Ghana Coalition of NGOs in Health to complement government efforts toward improving immunization coverage and protecting children against vaccine-preventable diseases.

He added that the initiative aligns with the Coalition’s broader mission of promoting Universal Health Coverage (UHC) and strengthening community health systems through strategic partnerships and capacity support to local health institutions.

Receiving the items, the Ahafo Ano North Municipal Health Director expressed deep appreciation to Africa Aid Ghana and the Coalition of NGOs in Health for their continuous collaboration and timely intervention. He emphasized that the donated equipment would significantly improve immunization activities, data management, and overall vaccine quality assurance in the municipality. He however added " Oliver twist, ask for more".

Health workers present also welcomed the support, describing it as a major boost to the district’s public health efforts, especially in remote and underserved areas.

Tim Africa Aid Ghana reaffirmed its commitment to working closely with the Ghana Health Service and other development partners to strengthen health systems and ensure equitable access to essential health services for all.

In the Asunafo South and Asutifi South Districts, Tim Africa Aid Ghana (TAAG), with generous funding support from Mundo Cooperante, Spain 🇪🇸, continues to light the path for young girls through the “Support for Education of Girls at Risk” project. 💜📚

This initiative aims to keep girls in school, prevent child marriage, and promote menstrual health — ensuring that every girl has the chance to learn, grow, and achieve her dreams. 🌸

During our recent school visits, girls received sanitary pads, books, and learning materials, along with motivational talks on self-confidence, hygiene, and education. Their smiles said it all — hope restored, confidence renewed! 💪🏾👩🏾‍🎓

Together, we are shaping a future where no girl is left behind. 💫
