On Friday 7th August, 2026 I was privileged to be the chairman of the 4th Graduation Ceremony of Aldersgate School Complex under the theme: Holistic Education of the Ghanaian Child -The role of stakeholders. It was a special occasion for me returning to the school after so many years of serving as a classroom teacher and eventually occupying the position of a head teacher. In fact, Aldersgate was my first ever school and the place where I cultivated most of the leadership skills and desirable attitudes.
In my speech, I passionately called on all stakeholders present to collectively work to uplift the school and the learners as well. Through my foundation, The Chalk Talk Foundation - Africa we pledged to pay the school fees of 4 learners who have exhibited academic excellence over the past academic terms. I want to express my profound gratitude to the proprietor, head teacher, facilitators and parents for the rare opportunity to serve in the capacity of a chairman for the occasion. To all the graduates I say "Ayekoo". Together let's inspire possibilities together.
