Cancer comes with all kinds of nons*ense*. Even when people survive, the trauma every headache or fever gives your family is underrated.
They live the scare over and over again. And for you the survivor is a lifetime torture of what could go wrong again.
No one deserves to go through it.
Healing rains for all Wesoamo Child Cancer Foundation babies.

Our reunion was certainly not as we planned. Happy to see you but sad you have to go through treatment again. Our Juliet had a relapse.
đź“· Slide our first meeting in 2019 and now.

After a courageous battle involving six rounds of chemotherapy and extensive surgery, followed by additional rounds of chemotherapy.
Juliet finally reached a point of hope. Following a three-year remission—during which she received a prosthetic eye and returned to school with a fresh start—the unthinkable has happened.
Just days into the new school term this year, a rapid growing swelling appeared. Despite never missing her quarterly check-ups, we received the devastating news that the cancer has returned, more aggressive and larger than before.
The Current Situation
Juliet is back at Korle-Bu, fighting once again. While she has already begun new rounds of chemotherapy funded by the Wesoamo team, her road to recovery is long and costly.
Current Status: Ongoing chemotherapy to shrink the tumor.
Next Steps: Additional chemo cycles followed by major surgery.
Financial Need: Over GH₵10,000 is required to cover specialized medications, advanced scans, and surgery.
How You Can Help
As a Wesoamo adopted child, Juliet relies on the kindness of the community. We are determined to see her through this treatment, but we cannot do it alone.
Donate via Mobile Money: 0555945515
Sponsor Her Care: If you wish to "adopt" the cost of her specific treatments or medications, please call us directly at the number above.
"No amount is too small." Every cedi brings Juliet one step closer to the surgery she needs and the life she deserves.
Thank you for your unwavering support and for standing by Juliet in her time of greatest need.

Rest in peace Wise.
As received from WISE's teachers and family.
He was diagnosed of Osteosarcoma. Diagnosis was late...unfortunately he was being treated for something else for months. Teachers were very instrumental in seeking help because he was intelligent and respectful. We are grateful for such teachers. Our hearts are broken. Hmm.

Heartfelt Appreciation and Announcement of Wise’s Passing

Dear Madam,

On behalf of Wise’s teachers and family, we write to express our deepest gratitude for the tremendous support your noble organisation extended towards his treatment at the Korle Bu Teaching Hospital.

Your generous financial assistance, encouragement, and compassion brought hope and comfort during a very difficult time. Your intervention played a significant role in ensuring that Wise received the medical care he needed, and we remain sincerely thankful for your kindness and commitment to helping him.

It is with profound sorrow that we inform you that Wise sadly passed away on the 4th of February at the LEKMA Hospital in Teshie after bravely battling his illness.

Though our hearts are heavy with this loss, we are deeply grateful for the support you gave throughout his journey. Your kindness will always be remembered and appreciated by both his teachers and family.

May God richly bless your organisation and strengthen you to continue touching many lives.

Yours faithfully,
For and on behalf of Wise’s Teachers and Family

Survivors were given certificates. Everyone had a Christmas gift, parents were not left out.
They sang, they danced and had fun. We are very grateful to the team at the child oncology unit at Komfo ANOKYE teaching hospital. They planned a perfect programme.
We thank you all for supporting us.
We wish you a merry Xmas and a great year.
