β€œAlone we can do so little; together we can do so much.” β€” Helen Keller ❀️

Today, Teen Moms Empowerment Network (T-MEN) continues its 5th Anniversary Outreach Campaign with our 3rd impactful outreach at Manhean TMA 2, Tema Newtown πŸ‡¬πŸ‡

Together, we engaged over 180 girls through:
🩸 Menstrual Health & Hygiene Education
🩸 Demonstrations on the proper use of sanitary products
🩸 Interactive discussions and Q&A sessions
🩸 Return demonstrations by students
🩸 Utilisation of their Pad Bank; this institution already have a pad bank with sanitary pads supply from the government of Ghana but are shy to patronise (Stigma Free Period).

This outreach is more than just education β€” it is about restoring confidence, dignity, and hope to young girls, while creating safe spaces where they can learn, ask questions, and feel empowered.

We are grateful to Jennifer Amoah for liaising us to these girls; together, we are building a future where no girl is limited because of her period πŸ’•

Today, the T-MEN 5th Anniversary Outreach Train headed towards 2 directions and one is Adukope LA basic & JHS, Ziavi Adukope in the Volta Region β€οΈπŸ’›πŸ’š

This outreach is especially meaningful to us because it marks the beginning of one of our major visions for growth β€” establishing Regional Volunteers across all 16 Regions of Ghana πŸ‡¬πŸ‡

We are proud to announce the Volta Region as our very first active regional chapter, led by our incredible Daisy Honoree, Midwife Fafa πŸ‘πŸ½βœ¨ Hayla Fafa Sabina in the company of other amazing volunteers. Yvette and Evelyn.
Their passion for adolescent health, empowerment, and community service continues to inspire the T-MEN vision.

It was sad to know that due the rains 🌧️ this morning and it being a market day many of the girls didn't come to school (topic of discussion later).

At Ziavi, we will:
🩸 Educated students on menstrual health and hygiene
🩸 Demonstrated the proper use of sanitary products
🩸 Involved the male students
🩸 Engaged students through interactive discussions and Q&A
🩸 Initiated a Pad Bank to support girls beyond the outreach day

The available students benefited from this outreach, with 2 set each of our Sanitary Kits with sanitary pads generously donated by The Big Give Foundation

Together, we are not just donating pads β€” we are restoring dignity, building confidence, and empowering the next generation of strong women.
