Care for Society Network International(CfSNI), under our Women Empowerment Initiative, hosted 2025 at the Fanteakwa South District Assembly Hall, where 85 rural women gathered alongside the District Health Director, the Eastern Regional Health Directorate, and a representative from the Narcotics Control Commission.
Together, we commemorated , the International , and the International in a space that was both inspiring and transformative.
The event reminded us that empowerment does not begin with grand gestures but with the simple act of nurturing our own well-being. Conversations touched on how substance abuse quietly erodes women’s health and economic strength, why routine hospital visits are a necessity and not a privilege, and how wellness encompasses every aspect of life, mental, social, cultural, spiritual, and physical.
What resonated deeply was the conviction that wellness is not selfish, it is strength.
At CfSNI, we believe that when women are supported to care for their minds and bodies, they unlock the power to transform their families, their communities, and their future. Rural Women Connect 2025 reminded us all that caring for the mind is caring for the future.
What does mental well-being mean to you? We’d love to hear your thoughts.
