- The Kpawumo Primary School -
and kindergarten provide education and childcare for about 200 students and small children right now. The headmaster is Mr. Abdul Rahaman Zakaria, the teaching staff is made up by two female and two male teachers. School uniforms and shoes are compulsory, but due to the lack of them they are only implemented for the higher grades. Corporal punishment is still very common in Ghana at our school we are trying to completely avoid it. Teaching materials are scarce, the children often lack their basic school supplies. The school has no electricity. The students or their families don’t have to pay a tuition, the teachers salaries are financed through the volunteers program.

My Life story
My name is Mohammed Imoro . I was born to the two hardworking parents by Names Mr Imoro Mohammed and Madam Zeinab Alhassan.
They gave birth to me in the month of January 1998 according to my dad at Gurugu community under Sagnerigu district as their marital second child they gave birth to 6 of us but one passed away so we are now 5 siblings in number 2 boys and then 3 girls
The Elder one is married and the other young brother is with my other extended family members and the other two sisters are with my mom at my House in Kpawumo
They name me after my late grandfather Imoro
Due to that I was given some tribal marks on my stomach to show that their late father is back to life
My parents moved from Gurugu the place I was born to a village called Guntinli and that was where they gave birth to my 3 siblings the late one,Nimatu and her brother Adam
I started schooling at the village around 2003 as a nursery student at the year 2007 we left the village back to the place I was born and then I re started by joining class 4 in an Islamic school and then later I dropped out of school because there wasn’t enough money for me to continue
Later in the year 2009 to 2010 we left the place where the extended family is, where I was born to Kpawumo to settle
At kpawumo I helped a lot in putting up the structures of the Kpawumo students home 🏡 and the school single class room
My dad was having a truck so I used to send it there to help the construction and that was where I became a good child friend of Dawuda
Whilst I was helping in the construction there was also time for me to leave the truck at the construction site and join my dad at the road where Jalaldeen mother is selling, my dad was having a bicycle mechanic shop there and I was working there with him and that was how we were getting food for the family so this continued until my father died
So when the Kpawumo school started I was attending it but it was only one class room so they combined all of us with the children
In the year September 2014 when I lost my Dad the extended family member’s took me to a far away village called Chirifo yili at the Tolon district for me to continue my school life there but I said no I wanted to come back to Kpawumo and school there because that was where I thought I could get an easy pace to study 📚
Fortunately on my part Markus Kubitza heard the news about that sad incident and then he came with some elder person of Kpawumo to plead with my family members and bring me back to Kpawumo to continue my education and my family members said okay and then I came back within that same year and began my education
Later he moved me to one of the better private schools called PEGGYS CHILDHOOD SCHOOL and I joined class 5 with Aziz and then in the year 2019 I completed my junior high school there and went to secondary school at TAMALE IDEAL COLLEGE another private school and I completed the senior high school in 2022. With my WACCSE results I applied to study ENVIRONMENTAL MANAGEMENT AND SUSTAINABILITY Degree 📜 at the UNIVERSITY FOR DEVELOPMENT STUDIES (NYANKPALA CAMPUS)
I Got the admission and I Started my tertiary education in the month of January 2023 and now I have completed my level 100 courses and I will be moving to level 200 God willing by next year 2024 January 8th 🙏🤍
With all these while God is always on my side and I want to thank him for everything He has done to me also Markus, Niils and Diana I have no word to express my gratitude for the love care and support you always give to I and my family 🙏🥲 thank very much!! Also not forgetting of the booster club as a whole thanks to everyone helping the booster club to grow
I LOVE YOU ALL 🫂❤️🙏

My name is Sayibu Abdul-Aziz, I’m 28 years of age, I was born in the year of 02/02/ 1996. The place I was born is TAHA where my father and mother live, my father lives there with his uncle for his life time there, but according to my parents that when I was small boy I was given to my grandmother, to be taken care of me, and the reason is that my mother wanted to go to Accra to work for herself so that he can have some things for herself because here in Ghana 🇬🇭 not everything that a man does to his wife some of them she has to work for them, so that was the reason why I was given to grandma to take care of me. My late grandmother name was Alimatu. She gives birth to four (4) children both of them are men. Mr. Dawuda is the last person she give birth to.
How I started my education, I first started going to school at TAHA where my parents are,and it was school which combine with Islamic too. After school when I come back home I have to go to bush to help one of my uncle to take care of animals until sun sets in. So I was doing this both during educational activities at the same time animals taken, it was not easy for me but and it was must for me to be doing that.
One day I we was at farm and to harvest cassava, and Mr Dawuda came to us and said to his eldest brothers that they lost their mothers. It was not easy for me because my everything was her so I was thinking about what am I going through now because I grow up in her hands and because I was small the time my mother gives me to her and I thought she was my birth mother. So i carry a lot on that days, but by then my mother too came back from Accra and she was calling me to come to her and I refused because I don’t know her later that I was told she is my birth mother and everything was in order for me.
One day I was just sitting and Mr Dawuda called me and told me that he is going to build a house which is going to be taken care of children who lost their own parents and the family can’t care for them anymore, and before he does that he will like me to help him to be fetching water for the workers for the house to be build up and after that he is going to send me to a private school for me to start my better education there, but he couldn’t because he started with white peoples and care about or help him to care for the children and I was the one helping day in day out and up to now I still does it, I’m late in my education because I was asked to stop schooling for almost three years because I was thinking my uncle will put me in to a private school for me to be able to have a better understanding about education, and as long last I was one to pick up the volunteers from town to Kpawumo every blessed day and send them back after school, and the school started with Mr Razak who is the headmaster now, he was the one who started with us under a tree and on the process some volunteers came and see that and they decided to build one classroom for us to be inside and by God grace they was able to do it, which was build up half classroom so anytime it rains we have moved out of the classroom because it was halfway build up.
A long the way we have DR.Markus Kubitza. As a volunteer in our organization, in year of 2012 he stays with us at Kpawumo there the children are but they was not light during then and one day I was to get him a food and he decided to follow me up to the food side and I was ordered by to buy him Banku food which one of our local food here in Ghana. Which I was too small during than but I was able to ride motorbike up to town and come back, so I picked Markus’s and we went to to the food side and he decided that he wish to eat there and I asked the food sellers to give him Banku, and he try to eat it but it was horrible for him to eat that food, that was his first meal and last meal again since then he never ate anything else like that. Our first day we ride together to town and come back Markus was side and he decided to stay in a hotel for some weeks because of malaria, and we send him to a close by hotel which can make us easy for picking up him to school everything day, and I was the one responsible for that, before then I have to pick up some volunteers at Eto’s house before picking up DR.Markus at his hotel. This is way I and DR Markus be come a friend to extend our friendship up to this level and now we are family members to each other just that skin color is different but the heart and the love is the same.
Markus decided for me to stay with him in the hotel because up and down for picking him is something he doesn’t want it that ways and he had our own rental motobike, and after him I will return the owner of the bike to him. And as times goes on he decides to sent me to a private school, which was called Royal unique school, in that was I was the only eldest boy and the rest was too small. Due to that I was not that much comfortable in there and more to that point the CEO of the school too was not interested in me so I complained about it to Markus and he asked the hotel manager to look for a better private school around for me again and he did which was Peggy’s’s private school and there I was interested in it and I found my size as well in the same school and I started in class four (4) there and two year later my lovely brother from another mother joined me there who is Mohammed Imoro and we started going together in the same school there Markus was the one who care for all of us school fees and later he asked for a classes master and we found one in the same school but later we changed to Mr Mahamaud and he was the one teaching Markus Dagbani as classes too this was how I have been with Markus for years and still we are brothers in heart ❤️ not just on top of our mouth. Imoro and I completed JHS in the same school year of 2019 and from there Imoro and I divided each other to SHS. Because of of Markus I get to know Nill’s, he is a lovely person brother to me and my family and friends as well, Diana is the same sister to me and my family’s and friends we can’t thanks you enough for everything you have done for me or us and many more.
This is my short story about me and I can’t explain all because we have new stories to tell everyday life, I’m so excited, glad that I am able to meet one heart family like you guys and the club that have the time to share with us here for us to to be able to be someone’s in future I wish I could open my heart for all of you to see what is talking about you guys. Thank you so much 😊 and many thanks everything you have done for me and my family, we really appreciate your support and your friendship. I wrote my weace last year and due to some technical problems our school results was holding up and later we have it but it was late for me or us to get a sit at university so apply for for sit and finally got a set there and now, I will start school at university on the 5th of January 2024. And am going to do HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT (HR) at UDS in Tamale city campus. I love the support that the club provides for us not only me or Imoro but to each one who wish to go to school that the club can support him or her, thank you sooooo much love. ❤️ 🥰🥰
