Saturday, 26th April, at Jubilee Park and its surroundings we witnessed more than just a clean-up — we witnessed unity, hope, and a renewed commitment to our environment and our future.
From women and youth groups to government agencies, civil society organizations, and private institutions — everyone showed up with a single purpose: to make Tamale cleaner, healthier, and stronger.
We are deeply grateful for the incredible support from institutions and organizations such as the Tamale Metropolitan Assembly, iValley Ghana, Activista Ghana, Regional Youth Network (Northern Region), Tiyumba Youth Association, Google Developer Groups (GDG Tamale), Women Techmakers Tamale, Miror Youth Group, Grow Africa For Me, Strategic Alliance Network (SAN Ghana), and many other passionate groups and individuals who believed in the cause.
Special appreciation also goes to Zoomlion Ghana Limited for providing essential logistics—wheelbarrows, brooms, nose masks, sanitation personnel, and equipment—which made a significant difference on the ground.
We were honored by the presence of distinguished leaders, including Hon. Abu Takoro, the Metropolitan Chief Executive of Tamale; Dr. Awudu Tinorga, Advisor to Kasi International; and Alhaji Tahidu Afaa, a respected community leader and patron of Kasi International.
This exercise was not just about cleaning the environment — it was about re-awakening mindsets toward sanitation, plastic waste management, peaceful coexistence, and community-driven development.
Together, we have proven that real change starts when we take action — one broom, one hand, one heart at a time.
Tamale is rising, and we are proud to be part of the journey.
At Kasi International, we are Creating Sustainable Change Through Local Action.
