Today, on the World Day Against Child Labour, we stand together to raise our voices for millions of children who are denied their right to education, safety, and a carefree childhood. Child labour robs children of their future, exposes them to harm, and limits their opportunities to grow, learn, and thrive. Every child deserves the chance to be in school, to play, to dream, and to reach their full potential. At WOSAG, we believe that protecting children is a collective responsibility. Let us work together to create communities where every child is safe, valued, and empowered to build a brighter future. Join us in saying NO to child labour and YES to children's rights, education, and opportunity. As a team, we stand against all forms of abuse and violence. We speak because of the work we do and what we believe in; a world where everyone can live free from fear, harm, and discrimination. We envision communities where women, men, girls, and boys are safe, respected, and valued regardless of their gender.

Today, we raise our voices for those who have been silenced, stand with survivors, and call for collective action to end Gender-Based Violence. Change begins when we refuse to stay silent. Together, we can create a future where dignity, equality, and safety are not privileges, but rights for everyone. We can be the generation that chooses respect over violence, compassion over abuse, and action over silence.

Our communities are at the heart of everything we do. The grassroots women we work with inspire us every day through their commitment, resilience, and determination to take ownership of the change they want to see. They are not just participants in development, they are leaders, and drivers of community solutions.

At WOSAG, we believe that lasting change happens when communities lead the process. By co-creating solutions alongside women, girls, and community members, we are building safer, stronger, and more empowered communities where local voices shape the future. Seeing women step forward, claim their agency, and lead collective action gives us hope and reaffirms our commitment to supporting community-led development and sustainable solutions.

Women Support and Activist Group (WOSAG), in commemoration of Menstrual Hygiene Day 2026, engaged girls from Kalpohini SDA JHS to amplify their voices through advocacy on menstrual health and dignity.

Together, we created a video message highlighting that menstruation should never be a barrier to a girl’s education, confidence, opportunities, or wellbeing.

Through girls-led advocacy, we continue to challenge stigma, break harmful misconceptions, and promote supportive spaces where every girl can manage her period safely, confidently, and without shame.

As part of WOSAG’s strategic priorities on youth inclusion and leadership, we officially launched the Gen-Z for Change Platform, a bold and vibrant network of young women and men committed to driving social change and continuing the impact of our work within their communities.
The platform creates a space for young people, especially in urban and peri-urban communities, to grow, lead, and advocate for issues that matter to them. Through this initiative, members are empowered to champion economic justice, bodily autonomy, gender equality, leadership development, and the fight against gender-based violence (GBV).
Backed by WOSAG, Gen-Z for Change is more than just a youth network. It is a movement focused on shifting power to young people, amplifying their voices, promoting decent work opportunities, and influencing policies for sustainable and inclusive development.
