KIC Young Agripreneurs Forum-UDS The YAF is a student led-medium for sharing and exchanging ideas, interests related to agriculture.

The Young Agripreneurs Forum (YAF) is a student-led medium for exchanging ideas and interests in agriculture. It is an initiative of the Kosmos Innovation Center Ghana, in partnership with the University for Development Studies with funding from Mastercard Foundation.
The forum is open to all students irrespective of their program of study.
Kosmos Innovation Center is also the center that runs the KIC AGRITECH CHALLENGE and has supported many student start-ups like Kodu Technology, Demipearl Company Limited, and Sagrisalma Company Limited.
THE YOUTH IN AGRICULTURE FESTIVAL which was held on 22nd July, 2023 sought to celebrate youth participation in agriculture by bringing experts from the industry on board to engage the UDS student body through key talks and panel discussions on climate change and food insecurity issues facing agripreneurship and the agriculture sector.
There was a debate and exhibitions as well🥳🥳🥳🥳
THEME: CLIMATE CHANGE AND FOOD INSECURITY: AN OPPORTUNITY FOR THE YOUTH IN AGRICULTURE
The program achieved its main objective as interview participants expressed satisfaction with their expectations!
We hope next year will be bigger and better.

On Friday 19th May, KIC Young Agripreneurs Forum-UDS conducted an interview on both Nyankpala and Tamale campuses to select YAF members for the year, 2023.
60 applicants were interviewed and screened.
35 members were selected to live the dream.
It was successful🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳🥳
