We kicked off the month of October with impact and inspiration as our Program Lead represented Allied Relief at the Gender-Responsive Digital Transformation Workshop and Gender Network Gathering organised by GIZ Ghana under the Digital Transformation for Inclusive Entrepreneurship in Ghana (DTEG) initiative, implemented by GFA Consulting Group GmbH.

The two-day event, held from 1st–2nd October 2025 at Mariam Hotel, Tamale, brought together gender champions, practitioners, and development partners to advance inclusive and gender-responsive approaches in Ghana’s digital and entrepreneurship ecosystem.

Our participation offered valuable insights into the Gender-Responsive Toolkit, which we are excited to apply in our work to promote equality, innovation, and inclusion in all our programs.

We remain committed to ensuring that digital transformation in Ghana benefits everyone, regardless of gender.

As part of the Digital Inclusion for Craft Enterprises (DICE) program, organized by Thrive Nest in partnership with the Ghana TVET Service, our team facilitated the Financial Literacy training for 20 artisans across tailoring, cosmetology, weaving, and metal works.

Our Project Officer, Abdul Sobur Sirajudeen walked participants through practical lessons in savings, business record-keeping, and mobile money management.

We are proud to contribute to an initiative that builds digital skills and also integrates financial knowledge, a critical component for inclusive growth and entrepreneurship.

We at Allied Relief were privileged to join a strategic convening organized by for Opportunities and Rural Development (CORD-GHANA), together with The Rural Connect. Water-Lily Foundation , and@ummyrelieffoundation

The engagement was insightful and energizing, focusing on how we can deepen and drive youth-led across and beyond.

This collaborative effort marks a meaningful step toward building stronger alliances, harmonizing initiatives, enhancing institutional capacity, and maximizing the strengths of existing structures to achieve greater collective impact in the fight against climate change.

As a group of like minded organizations, we reaffirm our commitment to promoting sustainable development and protecting the future of our communities.

On June 22, Allied Relief proudly partnered with Thrive Nest, Water-Lily Foundation and The Rural Connect. to co-host the LCOY Ghana 2025 Regional Consultation at the GDCA Conference Room in Tamale.

This youth-led dialogue brought together 20 passionate participants to explore real, urgent challenges across 11 thematic areas—from renewable energy and climate governance to WASH, with Allied Relief facilitating sessions on:
- Biodiversity and Nature-Based Solutions
- Food Systems
- Adaptation and Resilience

The outcomes from this consultation will feed directly into the Youth Climate Action Roadmap (2025–2030), a bold, youth-informed agenda for a more climate-resilient Ghana.

We engaged the Chief, traditional leaders, and stakeholders to introduce the project and gain their support.

By tackling malnutrition and strengthening community healthcare, this initiative aims to improve maternal and child well-being for a healthier future.
