Tomorrow starts today. Well done Your Highness.

A Kingdom becomes truly great when its children are taught to respect their culture, pursue knowledge, and dream beyond limitations. By opening the Palace to these young learners, His Royal Highness once again demonstrated that the Palace is not only the custodian of our customs but also a home where wisdom is passed from one generation to the next.
Every child seated before the throne carries a dream. Among them are future chiefs, doctors, engineers, pilots, teachers, judges, scholars, and leaders who will one day write new chapters in the history of Dagbon. The responsibility we bear today is to nurture them with knowledge, discipline, and good values.
May Allah bless every child present, grant them wisdom, protect their future, and raise them into men and women who will bring honour to their families, Choggu, Dagbon, Ghana, and the world. The strength of tomorrow's Kingdom begins with the education of today's child.

As the people of Dagbon Kingdom prepares for the enskinment of the Regent, The Office of Zosimli Naa remains steadfast in its duty to the people of Dagbon, the Chiefs, Elders and the Gbewaa Palace and the Royal Family of Dagbon during this sacred period of mourning and transition.

We are grateful to our delegation members of Elders and our Team representing the Office guided by the Saba Naa of The Gulkpenaa Palace. Executing with grace, loyalty, and service.

Today, The Office of Zosimli Naa®️ is honored to celebrate the City of Cincinnati's proclamation recognizing July 30, 2026, as International Friendship Day.

We are grateful to Mayor Aftab Pureval and the City Of Cincinnati Government for proclimation recognizing that friendship is more than a personal relationship but as a powerful force for building trust, belonging, mutual understanding, and stronger communities.

The Office of Zosimli Naa®️ is honored to be one of the many organizations intentionally cultivating friendship through leadership, cultural exchange, community conversations, and international partnerships.

We believe that when people build authentic relationships across neighborhoods, cultures, and countries, they create the foundation for stronger communities and a more peaceful world.

This proclamation belongs to everyone who believes in the power of connection and has helped build bridges across cultures.

Representatives of The Office of Zosimli Naa yesterday visited the Gbewaa Palace to offer our condolences and stand in solidarity with the Royal Family, chiefs, elders, and the people of Dagbon following the passing of His Royal Majesty Yaa Naa Abukari II, King and Overlord of The Kingdom of Dagbon.

"May the God of all comfort, who comforts us in all our affliction, so that we may be able to comfort those who are in any affliction." — 2 Corinthians 1:3–4

Our delegation was joined by representatives of the University of Louisville Department of Pediatrics- AMPATH Ghana Project, reflecting the longstanding partnership between Louisville and the people of Dagbon.

Executive Secretary Mr. Abdulai Sulemana on behalf of Her Royal Highness Naa Ife Bell, Zosimli Naa of Dagbon signed the official book of condolences.

Sharing on Her Highness behalf "Though I am physically away from Dagbon, my heart remains dual connected with the people of Gbewaa Palace and Dagbon."

Dr. Gabriel also recorded their condolences on behalf of, Dr. William Jackson head of the University of Louisville Hospital Pediatrics.

May the God of all comfort strengthen the Royal Family, the Chiefs, elders, and the people of Dagbon during this season of mourning, and may the legacy of His Royal Majesty continue to inspire generations to come.

What if we stopped asking only how Black mothers survive pregnancy... and also asked what they have been doing for generations to cultivate mental wellness, resilience, and community?

For generations, Black mothers, fathers, families, and communities have created circles of connection, support, strength, and confidence that have sustained one another through joy and adversity alike.

This Black Maternal Mental Health Week, I invite us to broaden the conversation.

Maternal mental health is not only about preventing crisis. It is also about celebrating the strengths that already exist while expanding the conditions that allow every Black mother to thrive before, during, and after pregnancy.

The Office of Zosimli Naa is proud to stand alongside Black Women Cultivating Change as they advance a Maternal Mental Health Policy Agenda focused on expanding access to culturally responsive care and strengthening the systems that support Black mothers and families.

Their policy priorities include:

🖤 Expanding dedicated local funding for culturally responsive maternal mental health services.

🖤 Strengthening screening, warm handoffs, and coordinated support.

🖤 Investing in trusted community providers—including doulas, community health workers, peer specialists, therapists, and support groups.

🖤 Recognizing that stable housing, transportation, childcare, food security, and paid leave are vital conditions that contribute to maternal mental wellness.

Through the Her Tomorrow Initiative, The Office of Zosimli Naa is committed to advancing partnerships, conversations, and solutions that improve the lives of women and girls across every stage of life.

One thing for certain and two things assured, success is never the result of one person.

It is built through people who choose to serve, contribute their expertise, and believe in something larger than themselves.

My success as a royal leader is in part made possible due to the dynamic team of elders and volunteers that help carry the royal mandate to serve the people through (heavy is the crown).

Recently with consultation, I have been thoughtfully and purposeful expanding the leadership infrastructure of TOZN.

This year we welcomed new volunteer leaders, expanded our communications and coordination capacity, and grew our palace advisory team to better support partnerships across Ghana and the United States.
