THE SEASON OF LENT - ASH WEDNESDAY

Beloved Clergy, Religious and Christ’s Faithful,

Ash Wednesday marks the solemn beginning of the Lenten Season - a sacred time of repentance, prayer, reflection, and fasting. As the Church enters these forty days of grace, we are invited to turn our hearts back to the Lord, to listen more attentively to His Word, and to renew our commitment to a life of conversion.

Through prayer, fasting, and works of charity, we prepare ourselves for the joyful celebration of Easter and the hope of redemption won for us in Christ.

The Catholic Diocese of Sekondi-Takoradi warmly invites all the faithful to journey through this holy season with sincerity, discipline, and openness to God’s transforming grace.

May this Lenten Season be for you a time of spiritual renewal and deeper communion with the Lord.
