Yesterday, Afi Kess Child’s Foundation had the privilege of visiting the Accra Rehabilitation Centre to share love, hope, and support with the children and residents.
We donated sanitary items, customized watches branded with our foundation’s vision, mission, and slogan, along with other essential materials — not just as aid, but as a reminder that their disabilities do not make them different or less valued than anyone else.
Our visit was about inclusion, dignity, and compassion. It was a moment to remind them that they are seen, loved, and supported, and that they belong fully in our society.
As a foundation, our commitment is to continue standing for vulnerable children — advocating, supporting, and showing up where love and care are needed most.
We humbly call on kind-hearted individuals, organizations, and partners to support us through sponsorships and donations, so we can reach more vulnerable children and extend this impact even further.
Together, we can make a difference. Together, we can protect, uplift, and restore hope.

As a community, we must safeguard our children's innocence and well-being. Unfortunately, many young lives are shattered by physical abuse.

The scars run deep. Physical abuse leaves bruises, fear, anxiety, and trauma.
*Alarming statistics:*
- 1 in 5 children experience physical abuse
- 90% of abuse cases go unreported
- Physical abuse increases depression, anxiety, and substance abuse risk
*Hidden signs:*
- Unexplained injuries or behavioral changes
- Withdrawal from friends and activities
- Fear of certain individuals or places

Child maltreatment isn't just a distant issue; it's happening in our own backyard - in homes, churches, schools, hospitals, and communities. Innocent children suffer at the hands of caregivers, step-parents, elder siblings, biological parents, teachers, strangers, and even survivors.

Approximately 90% of children in Ghana experience some form of child maltreatment. We can no longer remain silent, thinking "it's not my problem."

The Bible commands us to protect the vulnerable: "Defend the weak and the fatherless; uphold the cause of the poor and the oppressed." (Psalm 82:3)
