🎀 Breast Cancer Awareness Month

This month, the Gender Committee joins the global effort to create awareness about breast cancer and the importance of early detection.

Let’s encourage one another to know the signs, check regularly, and seek medical attention when necessary.

Early detection can make a difference. Let’s spread awareness and support one another.

At our YMCA, a volunteer year is also a journey of cultural learning; understanding and appreciating the values, traditions and way of life of the community you serve.

Here are glimpses of CVJM volunteers Silke and Emma exploring ethics and facts about Ghanaian culture as part of their integration journey, facilitated by members of our Secretariat team.

Because meaningful service begins with understanding, connection and respect. 🔻💛
