We have not posted on this page in a very long time. We are thankful for how the Lord continues to bless the Hope of Africa Baptist Ministry. We are a gospel-preaching church-planting ministry in the western region of Ghana.
We will be getting this page active again in the days and weeks ahead.

A missionary is a missionary regardless of the land boundaries wherein he works if he is taking the gospel to a place or a people group who have never heard it: Romans 15:20-21. I would seriously challenge anyone to prove otherwise from the New Testament. Matthew 28:18-20 defines the parameters of the Great Commission as Jerusalem, Judea, Samaria, and the uttermost parts of the earth! Whether at home or abroad, folks who have never heard the gospel one time are “the field”. We need laborers in every part of the field where there are no laborers. From the towns of South Dakota to the villages of West Africa, every city and creature; every place and person who have never heard the gospel NEED a missionary!

Dr. Scott Caudill sent me this song that he wrote at our house while visiting us in Ghana. He had just arrived to our place from Brother Keith Shumaker’s and had visited Brother Dwayne Harrison. These men and their families, are some of my heroes as is every “soldier of the cross” who has left family, friends, financial future, and all that is familiar to go serve the Lord in distant lands.

Tonight, I want to take the time to thank the Lord for raising up a generation of young, godly, faithful men for this generation! I am thankful for the young men that we know in West Africa who have kept themselves pure, and have a hunger and thirst for righteousness, who are allowing God to use them greatly. I am thankful to be traveling across the US and finding much younger men than myself who are being faithful in their local churches, some pastoring, others headed to the mission field!
When countries go to war, we send our young men who have strength, vigor, health, and passion to fight! God is ever looking, calling, preparing, using, and sending men into the war for the souls of men! I thank God for the old veterans, the faithful warriors for truth; but I so thank God tonight for a generation coming up who are prepared for battle!

Finals for all students at the Fundamental Bible Baptist Institute today.
So incredibly thankful for what the Lord is doing here.
By this evening, the students will all be thankful that this day is over. 😊 But I’m so proud of all of them!!! Most have shown great commitment to their studies.
