In many rural communities across Ghana, childbirth is not a moment of joy—it is a moment of fear. Every year, mothers go into labor without access to basic medical equipment. Newborns take their first breath in facilities that lack even the simplest life-saving tools. What should be a celebration too often turns into a tragedy.
No mother should risk her life to give life. No child should lose their chance to live on their very first day. Every mother deserves dignity, and every child deserves a fighting chance to thrive.
The Harsh Reality
In these underserved areas, healthcare centers are doing their best—but they are under-equipped, understaffed, and overwhelmed.
Imagine a delivery without proper tools:
No oxygen support to help struggling newborns breathe.
No infant warmer to protect fragile bodies from the cold.
No resuscitation machine to respond to emergencies.
These are not luxuries—they are the difference between life and death. For families in these communities, the absence of even one essential tool can mean the loss of a mother or child.
Our Mission: Change the Story
Royal Drie Organization, a registered charity in Ghana, is committed to transforming maternal and newborn healthcare through Community-based Health Planning and Services (CHPS).
We are raising $20,000 – $25,000 to provide essential medical equipment to rural health facilities—giving mothers and babies a fighting chance. With your support, we can equip clinics with what they urgently need, train staff to use the equipment effectively, and create safer birth experiences across rural Ghana.
