Team of Hope Ghana - Mid-Year Surgical Outreach

For 10 years, a dedicated team of doctors, nurses, volunteers, and partners have been quietly changing lives in Buluk.

This year, the annual Team of Hope Ghana Mid-Year Surgical Outreach once again brought hope, healing, and free life-changing surgical care to hundreds of people who otherwise could not afford it. Families found relief. Patients regained their health. Lives were transformed.

Meet Felix Rockson Ayantoya our dedicated anesthetist who has been with Team of Hope, Ghana since our very first outreach in 2016.

From the beginning, he has shown unwavering commitment, professionalism, and a deep passion for patient safety. His calm presence and dedication in the theatre have played a vital role in making countless life changing surgeries possible.

Beyond the theatre, he is loved by the entire team for his warm personality and the joy he brings wherever he goes. Affectionately known as “Papa Rocks,” he always finds a way to light up the room and keep the team motivated.

We are excited to share that Team of Hope Ghana has successfully completed our first outreach program for the year in partnership with Tamah Specialist Hospital in Walewale.

Over the course of the mission, our team carried out more than 100 life changing surgical procedures for patients who otherwise would have had limited access to specialist care.

We extend our heartfelt appreciation to the management and staff of Tamah Specialist Hospital for the warm reception, collaboration, and support that made this outreach a success.

To our dedicated volunteers and team members, thank you for your commitment, sacrifice, and passion for serving communities in need. Your dedication continues to restore health, dignity, and hope to many families.
