Clean Air, Clear Future!

On Monday, the Infinity970 team hosted a powerful engagement session with shop attendants, food vendors, and community members to discuss vital clean air practices.

We were honored to have key representation from the Korle Klottey Assembly, an Environmental Health Officer (Sefakor Fummey), the NLA, and members of the media. The event featured a vibrant cultural display and concluded with an incredibly interactive and engaging Q&A session.

Together, we are committed to building healthier, cleaner communities.

On 22nd October, our team continued its ongoing Clean Air Sensitization and Awareness Campaign, a community-focused initiative aimed at educating and inspiring individuals especially young people on the importance of maintaining clean air in our environment. This phase of our campaign took us to two remarkable educational clusters: the Nima Cluster of Schools and the Kanda Cluster of Schools, where we had the opportunity to engage with vibrant and curious students eager to learn and make a difference.
During our sessions, we discussed the importance of clean air and its critical role in sustaining good health, supporting learning, and improving overall quality of life. We also explored the various sources of air pollution, including vehicle emissions, open burning, and industrial activities issues that directly affect the communities we live in. The students were not only attentive but also actively participated in identifying everyday practices that contribute to pollution and brainstorming practical ways to reduce them.
What stood out most was the students’ enthusiasm and sense of responsibility. Their insightful questions and genuine concern for their environment reminded us why such initiatives are so vital. Educating young people about air quality empowers them to become advocates for environmental stewardship within their schools, families, and communities.
The Clean Air Campaign is more than just an awareness drive. It’s a movement to inspire collective action. Clean air is not a privilege; it is a basic human right that ensures healthier lives and a sustainable future. Every action we take, no matter how small, whether planting trees, reducing waste burning, or using cleaner transport options contributes to this shared goal.

October 8th, 2025, our team continued our air pollution sensitization campaign with visits to the La Nkwantanang-Madina Municipal Assembly and the Adenta Municipal Assembly.

In Madina, we engaged with various key stakeholder members, including representatives from the National Commission for Civic Education (NCCE), the Environmental Health Unit, the Ghana Education Service (GES), the Planning Department, etc. Our discussions centered on practical and collaborative strategies to promote cleaner, healthier air and strengthen community awareness on air quality issues.

At Adenta, we had the opportunity to meet with the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) and the Municipal Coordinating Director (MCD) to further push the agenda of clean air and sustainable environmental practices within the municipality.

Together with both Assemblies and their dedicated leadership teams, we are building strong partnerships and collective momentum toward a cleaner, safer, and more breathable environment for everyone.

Today, September 30th, we had the privilege of engaging with brilliant young minds from Accra Newtown Experimental 1 & 2 and Kpehe R/C Basic School in the Ayawaso Central Municipal.
Together, we had a discussion on the lingering topic: Clean Air Practices.
The energy, ideas, and passion these students shared remind us that the future truly lies in the hands of our youth — and it’s a future that deserves cleaner, healthier air.
Imagine what we can achieve if every school, every community, and every city join hands for clean air.
