INTRODUCTION/BRIEF HISTORY OF THE FOUNDATION
Development Educational Foundation-Ghana is a registered Non-Governmental Organization (NGO). It was founded in 2011 and has been registered with the Registrar General Department in 2013. Gyabaa Felix Kwame, a graduate student of the University for Development Studies with a Second Class Honour (Upper Division) in Bachelor of Arts Development Education
Studies who has taken upon himself to see to the improvement in the lives and all forms education among the needy/vulnerable in the region, district, community he lives and the entire Country. The interest he had, made him sold the idea to his friends and siblings who also embraced it. According to him, the level of human rights, education among vulnerable pupils, culture and tradition, among others such as empowerment of the women especially girls/teenagers with single child or children in his community, district, and the region was not the best. Hence, the need to form the NGO came at the right time. The Foundation is working with the poor, vulnerable/needy and the marginalized to enrich and empower them to better their lives so as to live meaningful lives. VISSION STATEMENT

Organzation organized cost free extra and Vacation Classes for J.S.S students of NSoatre during 2011 and 2012 BECE and our research showed that, students who attended pass well.
organization has provided more than seven hundred Exercise Books, five hundred pens and pencils and 5 prescribed uniforms to vulnerable pupils in the various Government Schools in Nsoatre and neighbouring communities/villages.
Organzation has embarked on three advocacy programme on Women Empowerment, especially among teenagers/girls with single child or more in five (5) communities on the need to attain or further their education and/or learn vocation or trade rather than depending on their unemployed husbands in order to escape from poverty, vulnerability, social exclusion, marginalization and depression.

WHY THE NGO WAS FORMED/ORGANIZATIONAL JUSTIFICATION
Educational Foundation-Ghana is aim to support the fight against negative cultural practices against women and the deprivations of necessaries of life for the Marginalized, Vulnerable, and Excluded in the communities. The presence of the NGO in the Sunyani West District of the Brong Ahafo Region is seen as a hope for the people in the communities to have their voices heard. We can therefore justify that, the emergence of this NGO is a blessing and hope of the communities in the B/A region and Sunyani West District to escape from vulnerability and depression.
