We are thrilled to announce that our Let Girls Excel Africa program will be constructing a washroom and change room for deprived and underserved girls in Oda, in the Eastern Region of Ghana who deserve so much more. This is made possible through the immense support of Akurasse and our awesome donors.

For too long, these young leaders have lacked basic, private facilities, forcing them to compromise their safety, hygiene, and confidence just to attend school or community activities.

We've championed emotional safe spaces through our programs, empowering girls to heal, dream, and thrive. Now, this project delivers the physical safe space they need—secure, clean, and dignified.

Through our Let Girls Excel Africa program, We have ;

Provided scholarships and school‑support items so girls can focus on learning.

Delivered leadership and career development training to build self‑esteem and skills.

Offered menstrual health education and hygiene support to keep girls in school with dignity.

Created safe spaces where girls can speak up, dream big, and become role models in their communities.

Asaasiam Vision International, through the Let Girls Excel Africa program supported by Akuraase Foundation, is focused on transforming "rural vulnerable Ghanaian girls' lives" —achieving over 90% school retention through structured trainings, workshops, mentorship, empowerment programs, and menstrual health support.​

Now, the Let Girls Excel Africa is expanding its impact through an integrated three-phase approach for girls in Rural Eastern Region Ghana: Creating an emotional safe space, empowerment programs, and creating the physical safe spaces they desperately need.​

*The Heartbreaking Reality*
The targeted vulnerable rural school girls have no choice but to resort to the use of nearby bushes for their convenience which is dehumanizing, dangerous and disease-ridden. During menstrual periods, they face harassment, fears, zero privacy or hygiene, forced absenteeism and deep shame.

We call on all to help drive dignified safe physical spaces. Your donation constructs washrooms and changing rooms that boost school attendance through confident period management, protecting health with handwashing/disposal/water storage to prevent infections, and delivering safety/dignity through private cubicles and lockable doors—ultimately empowering their confidence and futures.

"Appeal For Support - Vulnerable Women in Goat Ranch Project"

This is a single sustainable goat ranch house for vulnerable women in rural Ghana. The house is divided into six clearly demarcated internal sections, under one shared roof on a proposed 1.5 to 2.5 acres of green pasture. The Project can house 300 to 500 goats.
