As part of our hybrid poultry bird empowerment effort, we gave 30 caregivers each 30 birds so they could begin small-scale poultry farming at their different residences.
It was a fantastic idea to help caregivers with hybrid poultry birds so they could support their livelihoods. Because they are frequently bred for high egg or meat production, caregivers can expect a steady stream of revenue.
They are appropriate for small-scale enterprises since, in comparison to other livestock, they also require very little space and maintenance.
The success of this project was further increased by the provision of the required trainings and resources (feeds, trolleys, medication and vaccinations) poultry management, which enabled caregivers to increase their standard of living and earn money.
All things considered, providing hybrid poultry birds to caregivers as a means of subsistence not only meets their immediate financial needs but also contributes to broader goal of poverty alleviation, food security and Empowerment within the Donkorkrom community. Folow Follow10
