Awe SHTS in it's quest to make the process easy for prospective students, parents, and other stakeholders has gone online.

Donation to Support NSMQ Team

The Executive on behalf of us all made a cash donation of Ghc1,000.00 to the NSMQ Team through the Headmaster.

They used the opportunity to meet with the Team and wish them success in this year's contest.

CATCH THEM YOUNG POLICY: EUNICE BAKIBANE MAKES WAVES IN HASAACAS LADIES VS FAITH LADIES CLASH

Eunice Bakibane, a product of the “Catch Them Young Refereeing” policy was the highlight of the final round of matches in the Malta Guinness Women’s Premier League as she took charge of the match between Hasaacas Ladies and Faith Ladies at the Sekondi Gyandu Park.

Eunice Bakibane, a proud product of Awe Senior High School in the Upper East Region of Ghana, is one of the best young referees discovered by the Referees department through the Catch Them Young policy.

Miss Bakibane took charge of the game effortlessly and also applied the laws to the admiration of spectators.

The game ended 1:0 in favor of Hasaacas Ladies as they qualified for yet another Women’s Premier League final against Ampem Darkoa Ladies.

The Catch Them Young refereeing Policy was launched two years ago by President Kurt E.S Okraku who is of strong conviction that, there is the need to imbibe the needed values in referees at an early stage and train them to attain the highest level in refereeing.

The program is aimed at unearthing young talented referees, between the ages of 13-16 in the field of officiating across the country.

I was privilege to participate in Awe SHTS PTA Meeting on Saturday 4/02/2023 at the school's Assembly Hall.

I used the opportunity to appeal to parents to support the Management in providing the needs of their wards since government was having challenges of late.

I appealed to parents to encourage their wards to join the Alumni after completing.

I also used the opportunity to meet with the NSMQ Team.

On behalf of us all, I thanked them for qualifying and participating at the National level for the first time since the school started in 1992.

I encouraged them to be steadfast in their studies.

I assure them of our support as they are/were preparing for this year's contest.

The leader of the team - Mr Lord Sagoe extended their appreciation for the support we (the Alumni) gave them during last year's contest.

He on behalf of them team assures us of their readiness in raising the flag of the school high this year.
