Hi family, meet Dr. Ibrahim Ishaqq from Janga.
He holds a BSc in Actuarial Science from the University for Development Studies (UDS). He also earned an MSc in Actuarial Science and a PhD in Mathematics and Actuarial Sciences from the University of Leicester, UK.

Currently, he serves as a Graduate Teaching Assistant at the University of Leicester School of Computing and Mathematical sciences .

Dr. Ibrahim Ishaqq has been appointed to serve on the New Patriotic Party (NPP) Committee on Finance and Economic Policy.

This is a remarkable achievement and a proud moment for Janga and beyond. We wish him success in this important national assignment. Congratulations, Dr. Ibrahim Ishaqq.

In 2001, the late Kpe-Naa Mumuni Bawumia paid a visit to his friend, Soo Naa Saaka Tung, following his succession to the Janga (Soo) throne.

Kpe-Naa Mumuni Bawumia, was the father of Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia former vice president of Ghana , He was a distinguished traditional ruler, a respected politician, and a former Chairman of the Council of State. His visit symbolized the strong bond of friendship and mutual respect between the two leaders, as well as his support for Soo Naa Saaka Tung’s ascension to the throne.
