Happy Workers’ Day! 👷🏽‍♀️👩🏽‍⚕️👨🏽‍🍳
Today, we celebrate the strength and dedication of every worker.

At OFIE, we believe that workplace inclusion for persons with disabilities is inclusion for all. When everyone is given equal opportunity, we build stronger, more resilient communities.

Let’s continue to create workplaces where everyone belongs, is valued, and can thrive.

Today, we celebrate the strength, resilience, brilliance and achievements of women and girls everywhere.

At OFIE, we believe that an inclusive society is one where every woman and girl, including those with disabilities, has equal opportunities to learn, lead, and thrive.

When women rise, communities rise.
Let us work together to create a future where no woman or girl is left behind.

👩🏾‍🦼‍➡️👩🏾‍🦯‍➡️International Day of Persons with Disabilities 👩🏾‍🦼🧑🏾‍🦯

Theme: Fostering disability-inclusive societies for advancing social progress

Today, we join the world in reaffirming a simple truth: societies only progress when everyone can participate fully and without barriers.

At the Organisation for Inclusion and Empowerment (OFIE), we are committed to building a Ghana where persons with disabilities are not just included, but valued, respected, and empowered to thrive. We work towards this by:
🔹 Creating awareness to challenge stigma and promote disability rights
🔹 Providing IT skills and robotics training to learners with disabilities
🔹 Strengthening the capacity of teachers to deliver inclusive education
🔹 Training parents and caregivers to better support persons with disabilities at home and in their communities

On this International Day of Persons with Disabilities, we are reminded of the importance of recognising the worth of every individual and breaking down barriers that limit fundamental rights. We call on schools, families, leaders, young people, activists, policymakers, governments, and local and international organisations to join us in building a more equitable and inclusive world—one where every person, regardless of ability, can fully contribute to social progress.

Inclusion is not charity. It’s justice. It’s progress. It’s our shared responsibility.
