LEARNING THROUGH PLAY: DISCOVERING THE POWER OF AIR

At the Early Childhood Development Program of the Mother of all Nations Foundation we believe children learn best when they are given the opportunity to explore, experiment, and experience learning for themselves.

As part of our Environmental Education activities, our young learners recently embarked on an exciting hands-on lesson focused on one important element of life — AIR.

Rather than limiting learning to the classroom alone, we combined discussion, observation, movement, and play-based experimentation to help children understand how air works and why it is important in our daily lives

As part of the Project spearheaded by CDD-Ghana - Ghana Center for Democratic Development and implemented by the Mother of All Nations Foundation, we are committed to promoting transparency, citizen participation, and accountability in local governance within the La Nkwantanang Madina Municipality.

In the coming days, we will be sharing a series of informational fliers containing excerpts from the 2026 Annual Action Plan of the La-Nkwantanang Madina Municipal Assembly

The purpose of this initiative is to help citizens:
1. Understand projects planned for their communities
2. Monitor the implementation and progress of these projects
3. Encourage accountability from service delivery agencies and duty bearers
4. Promote active citizen participation in local development

Development works best when citizens are informed and engaged. We therefore encourage community members, stakeholders, and residents to actively follow these updates, share their thoughts, and contribute constructively to discussions.

Together, we can help ensure that development projects are implemented effectively and in the best interest of both the Assembly and the people of Madina.

Mother of All Nations Foundation is participating in a 3day workshop on Collaborative Learning and Development.

Day 1 of our workshop at SCEF kicked off on an inspiring and engaging note!

The first session, facilitated by Joseph, Ame and Caroline, focused on Collaborative Learning and Development. Participants were taken through practical approaches to teamwork, knowledge sharing, and collective problem-solving—key elements for driving sustainable impact in our communities.

Through interactive discussions and group activities, the session highlighted the power of working together, leveraging diverse perspectives, and building strong partnerships for growth and development.

The energy in the room was incredible, and we are excited about the learning journey ahead in the coming days.

Stay tuned for more updates from the workshop!

Do you know what’s in store for Madina in 2026?
The Medium-Term Development Plan shouldn't be a secret kept in an office. Under the I Am Aware project, MoANF is breaking down the Assembly's Action Plans into simple, easy-to-understand guides for every citizen.

We are promoting inclusive governance, deepening transparency, and making sure your voice counts in service delivery.

Mother of All Nations Foundation is currently participating in a validation meeting on Ghana’s Fair Tax Monitor (FTM), covering the period from 2009 to 2024 organised by OXFAM in Ghana

The Fair Tax Monitor provides a comprehensive assessment of national tax systems, highlighting key challenges while examining how tax policies and practices impact citizens and the delivery of public services.

The assessment is around these six key thematic areas:
(i) the distribution of the tax burden and progressivity;
(ii) revenue adequacy and illicit financial flows;
(iii) tax competition and corporate incentives;
(iv) the effectiveness of tax administration;
(v) government spending; and
(vi) transparency and accountability.

For us at Mother of All Nations Foundation, this process is directly aligned with our mission to promote social justice, accountable governance, and inclusive development. Fair and efficient tax systems are essential to mobilising domestic resources that fund education, healthcare, social protection, and community development—core areas of our work.

By engaging in the Fair Tax Monitor, the Foundation contributes to evidence-based advocacy that supports equitable public financing, strengthens citizen trust in public institutions, and advances sustainable development outcomes for underserved communities.
