MercyDavis Foundation (MDF), is a volunteering organization that started with a group of young people voluntarily coming together to help various institutions and communities. In December 2010 we decided to form an organization which will be for non profit. The idea was to enable people to use their leisure hours for the benefit of mankind through rural and urban community volunteering. These volu
nteering activities were centered mainly on health, community development and education. This service took the form of participation in organized community works, participation in developmental projects that enhanced better living for people. People started to join in the work of bringing new life, hope and ideas to remote places in rural and urban communities of Ghana. MercyDavis was therefore formed in January 11, 2011 and is registered in Kumasi, Ghana as a non governmental organization with the following agencies, Social Welfare of Ghana, Registrar Generals department of Ghana. MercyDavis is located in Kumasi the second largest city in Ghana. MercyDavis is a well coordinated Non-Governmental Organization which has effective and efficient young people who exhibit a high sense of nationalism and patriotism.
