Today, on World Environment Day, we celebrate the power of nature to inspire bold climate action. At the Centre for Green Growth, our mission has always been rooted in one belief: that a sustainable future is only possible when people, especially Africa's youth are empowered with the knowledge and tools to act.
Through our Green Jobs initiative, we are creating pathways for young Africans to build careers in the green economy from renewable energy and sustainable agriculture to climate-resilient infrastructure. Because protecting our planet and building livelihoods are not opposing goals; they are one and the same.
This World Environment Day, let's commit to going further; for the planet, for our communities, and for every future generation that will inherit the Earth we shape today.
