GUAN CONGRESS ANUM, 2026 – YOUTH FORUM

The future of the Guan people belongs to a generation that understands its history, protects its identity, embraces innovation, and takes responsibility for the development of its communities.

As part of Guan Congress Anum 2026, we proudly present the Youth Forum, a special platform bringing together Guan youth, traditional leaders, policymakers, professionals, academics and other stakeholders to discuss the future of Guan communities in Ghana.

📅 Date: Friday, 14th August 2026
⏰ Time: 9:00 a.m. – 1:00 p.m.
📍 Venue: Anum, Eastern Region, Ghana

THEME:
“Harmonising Resources in Guan Communities for Inclusive and Sustainable Development.”

The forum will focus on critical issues affecting the present and future of Guan youth, including the preservation of our languages, culture and heritage; youth empowerment; responsible management of community resources; ICT and digital development; and the role of young people in building stronger and sustainable Guan communities.

Participants will also have the opportunity to engage in youth dialogues, technical presentations and an open forum where young people can share their perspectives, ask questions and make commitments towards the development and unity of the Guan people.

This is more than a forum. It is a call to the next generation to become custodians of our heritage, champions of innovation and partners in development.

Our heritage is our identity.
Our resources are our strength.
Our youth are our future.

Together, we can build a stronger, united and sustainable Guan nation.
