Asante Akyem Decided on the 7th of December and these gallant men got favor in the sight of the electorate and voted them to power as their respective representatives in the 9th Parliament of Ghana.
We the youth of Asante Akyem want to use this opportunity to congratulate you our noble men on your victory.
Asante Akyem North voted for OHENE KWAME FRIMPONG, a businessmen and a philanthropist.
Born September 23, 1986 at Agogo Asante Akyem. Ohene Kwame Frimpong got his formal education at Cosmos Preparatory School at Lapaz New Market near Tabora, Accra, Aggrey memorial Zion Secondary school , Central University College and studied travel and tourism at CONEL college in North London(Ghanaweb/Wikipedia)
He won as an independent candidate after he won the hearts of the masses with his philanthropic gesture and campaign of hope.
This saw him to have landslide victory against the incumbent Lawyer Andy Appiah -Kubi of the NPP. This was the first time the people of Asante Akyem North changed the traditional way of voting for the NPP.
Ohene is the CEO of Salt Media based in Asante Akyem Agogo and other businesses across the globe.
Asante Akyem Central maintained Lawyer KWAME ANYIMADU ANTWI.
Born on 12 April, 1962 at Patriensa in the Asante Akyem Central. He had his formal education in University of London and GIMPA.He is married with four children.
The incumbent MP was given an extension to his tenure as he was voted into power for the 5th time. He has being an MP from the 5th to the yet to be inaugurated 9th parliament.
Asante Akyem South also maintained Lawyer KWAKU ASANTE-BOATENG.
Born on April 27, 1961 at Bompata in the Asante Akyem South. He had his formal education at University of Ghana and Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology with finance background and a lawyer in good standing..
He has served as the MP from the 6th parliament to the yet to be inaugurated 9th parliament. This is his 4th time in parliament.
The youth of Asante Akyem wish them well and we hope and pray they excel in their various offices.
We equally ask them to involve the masses in the administration.
Please do not go and stay in Accra and neglect your people. We encourage them to frequently organize town hall meetings to communicate what transpires in the Parliament House to us and in the same vain transport our needs to the floor of parliament.
