The Hohoe Unique Lions Club successfully held the Handing Over and Installation of New Officers for the 2026/2027 Lions Service Year.

We say a big THANK YOU to our outgoing President, Lion Bridget S. Letsa, and the past executive for their selfless service and dedication.

HOhoe UNIQUE LIONS CLUB GOES GREEN!* 🌱

Today, the Hohoe Unique Lions Club undertook a tree planting exercise at the newly built Model School at Hohoe By-Fire

In line with Lions International’s global cause of Environment, members planted both fruit trees and shade trees to beautify the school compound, provide shade for pupils, and promote a healthier learning environment.

The initiative also aims to teach students the value of environmental stewardship and healthy living through fruit-bearing trees.

HOHOE UNIQUE LIONS CLUB JOINS TREE PLANTING EXERCISE, MCE HIGHLIGHTS IMPORTANCE OF GREENING

The Hohoe Unique Lions Club today honored its invitation to participate in the municipality’s tree planting exercise held at the premises of Hohoe municipal Assembly ground.
The exercise, organized by the Hohoe Municipal Assembly, forms part of ongoing efforts to combat climate change, restore degraded lands, and improve the environment for future generations.

Addressing participants, the Municipal Chief Executive, Hon. Prosper Kumi admonished citizens on the urgent need for tree planting. He noted that trees are vital for rainfall, clean air, soil conservation, and protecting communities against the effects of harsh weather. “Every tree planted today is an investment in the health and future of Hohoe,” the MCE stated, urging clubs, schools, and individuals to make tree planting a habit, not just an event.

Members of the Hohoe Unique Lions Club, led by Club President elect, Mr Carl Agbittor actively planted seedlings of mahogany, teak, royal palm. The Club reaffirmed its commitment to environmental sustainability, one of Lions Clubs International’s global causes.

The Club extends appreciation to the Municipal Assembly for the invitation.
