Building Stronger Communities Together!

On August 5th, 2026, the Mawuadek Foundation LBG was proud to participate in a vital community outreach as part of the Integrated Social Services (ISS) team in Akoviefe, Ho West District.

Our Founder & CEO joined fellow team members and facilitators for our very first community engagement following the coaching phase. Centered on the Child Protection Community Facilitation Toolkit, the session focused on "Creating a Safe and Protective Environment for Children."

Through open dialogue with local chiefs, elders, and community members, we addressed critical ways to strengthen child welfare systems and ensure every child grows up in a safe, supportive environment.

A special thank you to the ISS team, Ho West District Assembly partners, local leaders, and the Akoviefe community for their dedicated participation and commitment to child protection.

On July 27th & 28th, 2026, the Founder & CEO of Mawuadek Foundation joined key Community stakeholders, District officials, and Civil society partners for an impactful 2-day coaching program organized by the Ministry of Gender, Children and Social Protection in collaboration with OHLGS and UNICEF.

​The workshop centered on using the Child Protection Community Facilitation Toolkits to tackle critical issues—including children's rights, adolescent reproductive health, and community-led facilitation.

​Empowering young people and protecting children's rights requires a unified effort. We are grateful for the opportunity to contribute to this crucial national initiative and look forward to implementing these tools across our local communities!

Mawuadek Foundation Represented at the Afadzato South District AIDS Committee Inauguration

On 2nd June 2026, Mawuadek Foundation LBG was proudly represented by its Founder and Chief Executive Officer, Hon. Mawufemor Adekpuitor, at the official inauguration and swearing-in ceremony of the Afadzato South District AIDS Committee, held at the Afadzato South District Assembly.

The ceremony brought together key stakeholders committed to strengthening the district's response to HIV/AIDS. Activities included the inauguration of the committee, administration of the Oath of Office and Oath of Secrecy, and discussions on the committee's responsibilities in promoting awareness, prevention, coordination, and community engagement.

As a foundation dedicated to advancing health, education, and community empowerment, Mawuadek Foundation is honoured to contribute to this important initiative. We believe that collaboration between government institutions, civil society organizations, and community leaders is essential to building healthier and more resilient communities.

We thank the Afadzato South District Assembly for the opportunity to participate in this important assignment and reaffirm our commitment to supporting initiatives that improve the well-being of our people.
