Aims & Objectives
The main aims of the Foundation is to empower the refugees to minimize poverty and hunger through self-help projects initiatives as well as building a sense of belongingness and ownership of resources. (HFRF) is determined to take responsibility for their economic and social growth and is based on the philosophy of self-help using
a bottom-up approach with the following objectives;
Mobilizing and organizing women, men and unemployed youth into viable cooperative groups in the camps. Supporting the development of small-scale individual and community-based technologies and enterprises
To fight against violence on women and children in all the refugee camps. To defend the human rights of the refugees. Diversifying economic opportunities available in the camps by promoting crafts, processing agricultural products and creating jobs for youth in various fields. To offer training to the women and youth in management programs. To help increase the productivity and earning capacity of the refugees for a better quality of life. To promote peace, love and togetherness everywhere in all the refugee camps. The organization executives (those who work at Egyeikrom camp) meet every day in the head office of the Foundation to discuss the welfare of our community(refugees) and plan activities. Thus, every first Tuesday of the month all the coordinators of the foundation meet at the head office to submit their report and plan for upcoming activities.
