Having monitored the day-to-day running of a few schools within the Dansoman vicinities of Accra for a few weeks, we found that the Well Spring School had a need for Textbooks, Storybooks, and notebooks.

The lack of the aforementioned has lingered for months, rendering independent reading for students an impossibility. therefore mobilized some books to help with this problem.

The headmistress received our donation and expressed her utmost gratitude for the support.

A library is a house of hope. It’s a place where we all, whatever our situation, can feed our ideas and develop our dreams.” - Doug Wilhelm

Drawing inspiration from this quote by Doug Wilhelm , in line with it’s mission to improve education and its standards in Ghana has completed the renovation of Richard Akwei Memorial Basic school’s library, rendering it suitable for use by students.

Marking 85 years since its inception in October 1930, the school has served many students in the Accra Metropolitan District. Although with periodic financial assistance from the Government, the school’s library among other key amenities have been long overdue for renovations and refurbishments.

Staff of AAW Ayuda Consult capitalized on their staunch belief in community development and involvement to immerse themselves fully into this project that spanned a few days.

We are delighted to announce that with periodic maintenance, over 200 students will be able to improve their vocabulary, gain knowledge and utilize the library to their maximum intellectual benefit.
