Go Girl Ghana

Go Girl Ghana We advocate social change with girls and their communities for the equality of girls and the improvement of their education

GGG aims to create community-based projects that respond directly to the root of the issue. As the goal is to achieve long term, sustainable change, we envision a project that will educate, facilitate and inspire not only girls but the community as a whole. Ultimately we want to enable girls to let their voices be heard and to be educated so they are better prepared to take care of themselves and their family, consequently contributing to an improved quality of life within their society.

Today, on Menstrual Hygiene Day, Girls in Go Girl Ghana joins the global call to break the silence, end stigma, and promote menstrual health education for every girl.

Menstruation is natural, and every girl deserves access to proper hygiene, dignity, education, and support. Together, let’s create a world where no girl is held back because of her period.πŸ’ͺπŸ“–πŸ‘§πŸΏ

A new chapter begins as our girls sit for their WASSCE examinations, we celebrate the hard work, resilience, and determination that has brought them this far.

Every lesson learned, every challenge overcome, and every late night of studying is a reminder of how far they have come.

We wish all our girls confidence, success, and the very best in their exams. Your future is bright, and we are always proud of you. πŸ’ͺπŸ“–πŸ‘§πŸΏ

The journey was not always easy, but they kept going with resilience, growth, and determination.

Today, we celebrate our girls for completing their JHS education and taking the next step toward brighter opportunities and bigger dreams.

As they move forward with courage, confidence, and purpose, we are proud of how far they have come.
Kudos to you girls.πŸ’ͺπŸ“–πŸ‘§πŸΏ

Florence Adu's Journey with Go Girl Ghana

My name is Florence Adu, and I am 18 years old. My parents were farmers, but after moving, my father worked as a mason and my mother worked as a trader.

Due to illness and financial challenges in our family, my sister and I had to stop school and help by selling small items to support our home. Despite the difficulties and not performing well in my BECE, I never gave up hope for a better future.

Go Girl Ghana became my biggest source of hope and support during this time. With their help, I was able to return to school and continue my education. I am truly grateful to God and Go Girl Ghana, and I am proud to be part of this organization. πŸ’ͺπŸ“–πŸ‘§πŸΏ

What happens when girls come together with purpose?
Confidence grows. Leadership emerges. Unity is strengthened.

Our food bazaar wasn’t just about food it was about empowering our girls to collaborate, take initiative, and support one another. A space where girls felt seen, capable, and
united.πŸ’ͺπŸ“–πŸ‘§πŸΏ
