FEEM’s Partnership with GetBundi
The FEEM Initiative is dedicated to empowering women and girls in leadership. We support young women’s education, sexual and reproductive health education, awareness creation and prevention of all forms of sexual and gender-based violence. Additionally, we provide livelihood support through skills training. Closing the gender gap in STEM fields is also a key part of our agenda, as UNESCO reports women make up only 35% of STEM graduates.
In that spirit, the FEEM Initiative is partnering with GetBundi, a Nigerian education technology platform. GetBundi focuses on STEM education for post-primary students digital skills training for young people and digital literacy for everyone. They’re introducing the TechSis Initiative, the flagship project of GetBundi Education Technology and the GetBundi Education Foundation.
Now in its fourth year, TechSis is a free digital skills program designed to bridge the digital gender gap by equipping African women aged 18 to 40 with in-demand skill sets. TechSis 2026 will focus on Data Analytics, Digital Marketing, Content Creation, and Video Editing.
Since launching in 2023, they have trained over 6,000 women from more than 12 African countries.
Many graduates have secured employment, launched businesses, and transformed their economic prospects.
TechSis has featured distinguished global speakers, including Her Excellency Jewel Howard-Taylor former Vice President of Liberia, Ola Williams Country Manager of Microsoft Nigeria and Ghana, and Amanda Cryer Hollywood film producer and social impact leader.
For TechSis 2026, they are providing US$250,000 in scholarships to train 3,000 African women at no cost.
